Here are Katie and Clayton at Rita's enjoying their custard.
Worth any cost to be with your grandkids.
Tyler's favorite gift was his remote control Hummer. His second favorite was a woppie cushion at a fraction of the cost. Boys will be boys.
Fun with the kids at the birthday party at John and Jamie's.

Man, that video contains so much....how Finn corrects lazily from her chair, how Jaime is the servant of ice-cream, how Finn & Mom already had some but don't get any for poor dad or Jaime, how the kids are running wild...good stuff!!
Hellooooo, Barnums. This is a voice from the past -- Gwen Edmunds, if you remember me.
I read Candace Gingery's latest report from Jamaica, and she mentioned seeing your blog. So I searched for a Barnum blog, and here you are.
Wondering where all that white hair came from -- I guess it must be a few years...... Do you remember our son, Darryl? He always remembered you as a fun person - were you his seminary teacher? Anyway, I am at Darryl's right this minute, in Redmond, WA, ready to leave in about two hours to go back to Hayward. He's a brand-new, first-time Dad, and so happy. His baby's blog is Erynnann.blogspot.com if you would like to check it out.
My email address is gwenedmunds@yahoo.com, and I'd love to get an update. I don't think I'm up to reading an entire blog. So - if you send me an update, I will trade with one of my own.
Gwen
Mary, This is Cynthia Lovell & I was just reading Candy Ginery's email and she was talking about your blog, & I couldn't help myself from trying to connect with you. Where are you & Don??? We're in Sacramento (Orangevale, a suberb by Folsom). We've been here for just over 15 years. I still, after all these years quote you from your first talk in Union City when you arrove there and talked about coming from a "twig" in Germany. For some reason that just really caught my funnybone.
We ended up with 6 kids and they're all gone, except for Chad. He lives with us but is doing GREAT!!! We tried so hard to get him on a mission, especially after you were able to get Matthew on one, but the church excused him before that could happen. He was able to serve a 2 year service mission in our area & did really well. He's been the ward assistant financial clerk for 14 years. (He enters the tithing almost every week and does a great job.) Anyway I won't take up all your blogging space, but my email is bycyn@pacbell.net (short for Byron & Cynthia). I'd LOVE to hear from you and get an update on your kids.
You both look GREAT!!!! Just like old times, well, close. ha ha
Anyway have a Happy!!! Love, Cynthia
